GEOSPATIAL SERVICES
An Integration of Academic Apprenticeship and Professional Services
GeoSpatial Services is a self-sustaining project center
operated by Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. We specialize in the
development of new spatial data, conversion of hardcopy map products into
digital spatial data, air photo interpretation, wetland and natural resource
mapping and internet GIS applications. Our clients include a range of public
agencies and private sector companies. We are dedicated partners with
the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on the National Wetland Inventory program. Click here for an overview of what we do.
The GeoSpatial Services includes: GIS analysts, project
managers, aerial photo interpreters, biologists, information technology
professionals and GIS technicians. We provide opportunities for
students from the Saint Mary's University of Minnesota to gain practical work experience through employment opportunities on
a variety of our projects.
