CITY
OF WINONA, MN GIS
GeoSpatial Services has industry leading employees in the development
areas of Internet delivery, Intranet GIS systems and application delivery.
EGSS also uses state of the art technology to create Internet Mapping
Service applications. The City
of Winona, MN contacted EGSS to develop an internet accessible
way for the community to identify the surrounding tax parcels. This site
is maintained by EGSS staff and accessible through the cities website.
GSS
worked in conjunction with the City of Winona, MN to ensure in the GIS
data development and IMS implementation plan. An IMS was developed to
put parcel mapping on the Internet and an Intranet version was created
for internal use. Not only did this create an open environment for the
community to view land parcel information it also controls cost for this
information at the city level.
