GEOSPATIAL SERVICES
An Integration of Academic Apprenticeship and Professional Services

GeoSpatial Services is a Saint Mary’s University project center, integral to its programmatic and academic development. We specialize in the development of natural resource assessments, new spatial data, conversion of hardcopy map products into digital spatial data, air photo interpretation, wetland and natural resource mapping and GIS applications. Our partners include a range of public agencies and private sector companies. We are dedicated partners with the National Park Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service participating in their Natural Resource Condition Assessments, Climate Change Vulnerability Assessments, spatial data development program, and the National Wetland Inventory Program.

GeoSpatial Services employs: GIS analysts, project managers, aerial photo interpreters, biologists, information technology professionals and GIS technicians. We provide opportunities for students from the Saint Mary's University of Minnesota to gain practical work experience through employment opportunities on a variety of our projects.

GeoSpatial Services recently moved from the St. Theresa campus.

The Natural Resources and Development divisions of GeoSpatial Services have moved to the Prairie Island Field Station. While the GeoSpatial Services Production staff have moved to the Saint Mary's Campus.
